Your privacy is the foundation of GoPic2JPG. This page explains exactly what data we collect, what we do not collect, and the choices you have.
Images Never Leave Your Device
GoPic2JPG performs every conversion, compression, resize, watermark, and EXIF operation entirely inside your browser using client-side JavaScript, WebAssembly, and the Canvas API. The image files you select are read into memory locally and processed on your device. They are never uploaded to any server, never transmitted over the network, and never stored anywhere outside your browser. This makes GoPic2JPG safe for sensitive, confidential, or personal photos.
No Account, No Tracking of Your Files
GoPic2JPG does not require registration, login, or any personal information to use. We do not log which images you convert, we do not record conversion history, and we do not link tool usage to your identity.
Cookies and Local Storage
GoPic2JPG uses browser local storage to remember two preferences: your theme (light or dark mode) and whether you have dismissed the cookie consent banner. These are first-party storage entries on your own device and contain no personal data.
Advertising and Third-Party Vendors
GoPic2JPG is supported by advertising served through a mediation platform (Ezoic) integrated via Cloudflare. When ads are enabled, third-party advertising vendors may use cookies, web beacons, or similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. These vendors may collect anonymous information such as your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and approximate location for the purpose of measuring ad performance and showing relevant content. We do not share your image files or conversion activity with these vendors — only standard, anonymous ad-measurement data.
Analytics
If analytics is enabled, GoPic2JPG may collect aggregated, anonymized traffic statistics (such as total page views per language) to understand which tools are useful. We do not use analytics to identify individual users.
Your Rights Under GDPR and CCPA
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or California, you have rights regarding your personal data, including the right to access, correct, or delete the data we hold about you, and the right to object to or restrict certain processing. Because GoPic2JPG does not collect personal data beyond what is described in this policy, exercising these rights is generally as simple as clearing your browser storage and cookies. Children's Privacy
GoPic2JPG is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The service is a general-purpose utility tool.

You can opt out of personalized advertising through industry tools such as the Digital Advertising Alliance (aboutads.info/choices) or your browser's "Do Not Track" / privacy settings. Note that third-party cookies used by ad vendors are subject to each vendor's own privacy policy.
